I was just wondering if there is anyone going to IMSL in a couple of weeks. I just registered for Saturday only. Would be great to know someone there so anyone else registered?

I'm going Saturday as well - anyone have any good ideas for parking around there?

Glad I will know at least a few people there. I have never gone to a function alone before. Bit nervous about it. Parking....no idea. I personally will try and get street parking. I have handicap plates so I dont have to worry about meters or time limits. Someone asked what is it? IMSL stands for International Ms. Leather. It is a weekend of seminars and parties and step downs. Also it is a contest as to who will be International Ms. Leather.

You should call the host hotel. If you have handicap plates they probably have free spaces in the garage for you, or provide free valet. That's a busy street, and If I recall, sort of on an fair incline.

Good point Mike, and I'm sure they do. For folks who can't find street parking, there is a garage. It's a bit pricy (20 or 30 for the day) but no more than a ticket. It's a big hotel so cabs are prevalent as well.

Parking at the hotel is not $20 or $30 a day it is actually $39 a day or like $2 for each 20 minutes. There is a $7 all day lot nearby on Sacramento though I've been told. Sheila... you will know me!!!

And if you are working on Sunday perhaps I'll bring the gaggle of leather friends I have staying with me that night for a late night munchie spree... for them, for me it's more scrapbooking and doggie stuff.

Parking is $13 a day, but only if you don't need in/out privileges. If you it's the regular exorbitant rate.
There are several nearby garages way cheaper, and Sunday will be free on the street.

I'm really looking forward to being there. I'm demo bottoming the Pleasure/Pain workshop on Sunday - drop on by!
